DailyMotion is deleting videos

Daily Motion are deleting U15 videos. They seem to be tagging videos linked from this site almost as fast as they are posted.

Perhaps we should use share sites like Rapidshare for PM videos from now on.

Yeah, I was surprise to face the Login error to Dailymotion when I upload a new vid. It comes earlier than I've thought.
To upload to Rapidshare or something like that is a good idea. I'm just thinking of. I've already try a part. Miki Fujisaki for PM is there. My consistant is "To Play vids" and to know the vids right away, but not download them. I try to find the way and recovery ASAP for PM.

Yeah, I understand, it is better for people to be able to know what the video is before they download it. Still, if you maintain the system where a general video is on your site, with the peer link going to rapidshare, we could have better quality video, like the Erika Fujimiya video that you put on rapidshare.

Thank you for you comment. You got it. I understand it's the easiest way for everybody to enjoy u15 vids is to click thumbnail photo and view them. That's all. I'm afraid some visitors can not find out "Download Button" in Rapidshare. I remember I myself stuck for a while in my first time visit to Rapidshare. You can go there but might not get any files at all.

I'm now tring to find some space to put the files in. This is not easy for me to link the player and files outside of Magnify.net when I put them in other than magnify. It's very complicated to make play vids on site in actual.

The better way, while keeping userability and interface easy, is to shrink the file size. (Of course this lead the lower quality.) And then upload the good quality vids to Rapidshare. I may take both ways for you.
It takes lots of time for me tough. I have to make two files for one vid. ha....

If Chan decides to use Rapidshare, I will write up the procedures for getting the videos. Once you know, it's simple :)

hi hypnotist, Thanx. I'm deeply impressed to have many hands to help me. The recovery of lost dailymotion vids is now in progress. I repost the dailymotion vids to the other place and link to them. You can find some are already recovered (both in this site and PM Blog).

I studied the quality of files (FLV) in dailymotion, and found that they're not in such a high quality. And also I realised I should have uploaded vids in FLV format from the begining. The FLV format is compressed much and file size is smaller than divx, wmv and avi. I was foolish!!
By converting files to FLV format first I can upload vids to the other space while keeping the same quality (or higher) as Dailymotion. I think I can recover all of vids in this site and PM blog within two weeks or so maybe.

Now about Rapidshare, could you please send me your draft to me? u15jjidol@gmail.com I'll take a screenshot for myself. Thanks a lot.

Rapid share sounds cool if we not going to get interferred with by the censors. There's usually a way around things. Hope it means we can have risque vids to :)
